A little bit about Mike
Mike entered the investment industry in 1981. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences from the University of Santa Clara (1974); played six years of professional football (NFL & CFL) and entered the investment industry at the age of 29. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and holds the Certified Investment Manager (CIM) designation. Over the last 36 years, in addition to client responsibilities, he has always held a Management responsibility including being President of Cartier Partners Securities Inc in the early 2000’s. Presently he runs the largest branch in Canada with iA Private Wealth comprised of 56 Investment Advisors and associated employees. He and Sherry Blamey have worked together for over 25 years. Mike resides in West Vancouver with his wife Lesley. They have two children, four grandchildren, two cocker spaniels, Chester and Maggie and a cat named Teddy.
